Wow, it's been a hectic couple of weeks.  My goal is to do a much better job of keeping this up to date.  Now that I have an idea of what the next couple of weeks will bring, that should be achievable.

This is a class that takes a great deal of responsibility.  We cover what ever happens to be going on in the news.  This gives us a great deal of flexibility.  It also means that it is up to you to find out what work you missed and what you need to do to make it up.  Students who miss class, you can got to the Gazette Online to find the articles or any other online newspaper to find similar articles.  Also another good place is CNN Student News .  Link to Morning Joe on MSNBC www.msnbc.msn.com/id/3036789/ .  I like this show because I think it does a pretty good job of providing both sides of an argument and exposes people to conservative and liberal viewpoints as well as Democratic and Republican.  I think the two co-host do a good job of presenting their points of view while respecting and acknowledging other points of view.
